Working for Ann Arbor. Vote Taylor on or before August 4th!
Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor
During my time as Mayor, I've delivered outstanding city services and worked to improve the quality of life for all residents. We've made historic investments in affordable housing and climate action, along with major improvements to roads, sidewalks, parks, and other city services. I'm running for re-election to continue delivering progressive action for you.
Improving City Services and Enhancing Quality of Life

Excellent City Services
Every day, we are working to improve the police, fire, road, water, sewer, solid waste, and storm water services that residents expect and deserve, while continuing to deliver a balanced budget. Residents should trust in their local government to provide clean water and to respond in an emergency.
Delivering for you has been and will always be my top priority.

Affordability
We are working tirelessly to make Ann Arbor more affordable. We have 1200+ units of new, permanent affordable housing built or in the pipeline. We’ve made huge strides to protect renters by prohibiting junk fees, obligating cost transparency, and creating a right to renew. I helped draft and championed Ann Arbor’s Affordable Housing Millage in 2020, and I was the only candidate in this race to publicly support it.

Bold Climate Action
During my tenure, we have increased Ann Arbor’s Climate Action Budget from $200,000 to $11,000,000/year, creating the Office of Sustainability and Innovation and the entire A2Zero program. In 2022, I championed our Community Climate Action Millage, resulting in curbside recycling, year-round curbside composting, direct-to-resident rebates, solar panels, batteries, and more. In 2024, I led the fight for Ann Arbor’s Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) to bring 100% reliable, renewable, low-cost energy to residents. The SEU looks to serve 100 homes this year with solar panels and batteries -- 750 homes next year!

Equity & Inclusion
In a time of division, Ann Arbor continues to stand for something better. We look out for one another, protect the most vulnerable, and work to build a community rooted in kindness, equity, and opportunity. We never cooperate with ICE and have been standing up to their hatred and divisiveness since 2017. On my initiative in 2021, Ann Arbor became the first jurisdiction in the United States to require that all public restrooms contain tampons and pads, free of charge. We always stand up for your rights. You belong here.
